AGU Research Projects
To achieve AGU’s mission regarding research and scholarly activities and enhance university research contributions, faculties are encouraged to conduct research projects and collaborate with other academic institutions within the United Arab Emirates and beyond. As a result, several AGU faculty members have collaborated with other researchers from different universities such as the University of Sharjah, UAE; British University in Dubai, UAE; Abu Dhabi University, UAE; Institute of Science, Research, and Development, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Kelatan University, Malaysia; Khuzdar University, Pakistan; Fricke und Mallah Microwave Technology GmbH, Germany; and Jiangnan University, China. AGU Faculty members actively engage students in their research projects. Seven projects have been selected for internal funding for the academic year 2021-2022. The research topics address issues related to agriculture, supply chain management, sustainability, Hydrogen fuel, nanocomposites, and project-based math learning. The principal investigators presented their interim progress reports on the eleventh of March 2022 in the AGU Auditorium. During their presentations, other faculty had an opportunity to explore various research topics in terms of aims and challenges.
