Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Enter the business world, competently and confidently, with an array of theoretical and internship-inspired practical knowledge in key business disciplines. Aiming at equipping students to handle the challenges of the global business landscape and facilitating them in becoming changemakers in their professional lives and future careers, our BBA program provides a thorough grounding across the core knowledge areas of business, an understanding of the international economic environment, an initial exposure to the business world, and a strong foundation in the disciplines of management. The Our BBA program has been designed to give you increased choice, as it provides specialization in Human Resource Management (HRM), International Business (IB), Marketing (Mkt), as well as the General degree to meet your individual needs and to nurture your potential and help you progress onto a thriving career.
Graduation Requirements
A student of BBA program must achieve a CGPA of not less than 2.0 on a 4.0 point scale, have earned at least 50% of program credits at AGU, and have passed 123 credits hours for award of the BBA degree.
Accreditation Status
The BBA program offered by the COBC was awarded accreditation status in 2004 and subsequently full accreditation status in 2010 and reaccreditation in 2015 by the CAA, Ministry of Education, UAE.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the BBA program, the graduate will be able to:
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the basic concepts and principles of business administration.
- Apply theoretical concepts of business administration to the operational aspects of business.
- Use the methodologies, techniques and analytical tools in key areas of business such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing, International Business, and Information Systems and E-Commerce in analyzing real life business situations.
- Demonstrate the ability to understand the importance of ethical, legal and social aspects of business activities in a global environment.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Prepare to assume entry level positions in the job market or pursue higher education in business.
